Kontratanker (Counterthoughts) is based on the effect of using static elements through dynamic manners in order to create gradual motion through musical layers. The motion of harmony, which is quite central to the piece. It is developed through elongated arches of dissonance flowing into consonance, timbres welling in and out of each other; colours ebbing from flooded kaleidoscopes, like fleeting thoughts pouring through the orchestra in their immersive continuum, and floating along the contours of an undulating wholeness.
