Jonas Lie Skaarud (b. 1990) is a Norwegian composer living in Oslo, Norway. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in composition from the Norwegian Academy of Music and the Liszt Academy of Music in Hungary. In 2017, he completed his MA at the Norwegian Academy of Music. He is currently working as a freelance composer.
He is a founding member of Ensemble +47, and producer for Ensemble Temporum. He is also the chairman of UNM Norway and festival director of UNM 2018.
