The piece Il giardino dei gatti ostinati (The Garden of the stubborn cats) gets its title from an eponymous short story by Italo Calvino. In short it describes the feeling of discovery, or that of previous experiences perceived with an added sense or a feeling of new enlightenment. It is a process both of perforated silence and of a limited number of consistent textures always interchanging with a greater and greater speed.
